1. Charging the mobile phone battery - Always charge the battery in accordance with the instructions provided on the manual. Charging the battery when half-full will only make it empty earlier. Charge it only when it is almost empty.
2. Lock the mobile phone -Set phone auto lock ON.
3. Secure the cell phone - Secure the mobile phone using PIN on the SIM card.
4. Use the recommended battery - Always use the original battery or recommended battery from the dealer when you need replacement.

The best FREE anti-virus program is Anti-Vir Personal Edition. It is very light on resources and the detection rate is very outstanding, but lacking in some features. Free Edition does not include malware protection and an email scanner. But upon opening the email, Anti-Vir comes into action when it is infected. It is also very intrusive since for every update there’s an advertisement.
Below are Anti-Virus products but not quite as effective as Anti-Vir but they are more complete products:
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition includes spyware, phishing, and email scam protection. Although it has grown considerably in size and is very heavy on resources, its detection rate is very good. By default, it installs the AVG Security Toolbar with Yahoo search. Regular automatic updates come quickly as before and, despite rumors, the new email scanning feature is not trial limited to 30 days. The free version has no anti-rootkit, provides Linkscanner Lite instead of Pro and has no technical support.
Another equally effective product is the Avast 4 Home Edition, although it sports a funky media player like interface, Avast is the least restricted product out of the three, with anti-rootkit and anti-spyware capabilities. It also has full real-time capabilities, including a web scanner, an e-mail scanner and IM and P2P protection. Avast also requires periodic re-registration, whereas AVG Free does not.
]]>Internet data packets have two parts: a data payload and a header used for routing. The data payload is whatever is being sent, an email message, a web page, or an audio or video file. Even if the data is encrypted, traffic analysis still reveals a lot of information because it focuses on the header, which discloses source, destination, size, timing, and many other information that you may not want others know about.
A good solution is distributed, anonymous network. This method reduces the risks of traffic analysis by distributing transactions over several places on the Internet, so no single point can link you to your destination. The idea is similar to using a twisty, hard-to-follow route in order to throw off somebody who is tailing you.
There is one good network that we can tap for anonymity over the internet, and that is the Tor Network. The network works by distributing your communication into several proxies before it reaches its final destination. In that way, the “listener” won’t be able to determine the origin of the information.
Tor is distributed as Free Software under the 3-clause BSD license. The bundles also include Vidalia and Privoxy which are supporting applications distributed under the GNU GPL.

Here is the screenshot of IObit Smart Defragmenter at work on my Vista desktop PC. It is Nokia’s first touchscreen phone, with a special version of the Symbian operating system (s60 5th Edition) responding to finger presses. The interface includes a new “media bar,” giving drop-down access to music, videos and photos. There are also handy links to the web and online sharing services. Elsewhere, a new “contacts bar” puts four of your favourite friends on the home screen, so you can text or call them with a single poke of a finger.
Nokia point out that the 5800 supports Flash. The phone can also surf the whole internet and not just some pieces of it. The screen is a true 16:9 widescreen, so it won’t leave a black border around movies. The phone’s equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, shooting VGA quality video, and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 8GB of built-in memory which can be expanded further by another 16GB via microSD card.
This phone is operated by a virtual QWERTY keyboard or a stylus. It sports a GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi. The quality of the sound can be enhanced by its Graphic Equalizer and a built-in surround stero speakers. This phone is also equipped with a proximity sensor to save battery life and to avoid inadvertent touches.
